The sideboard was sanded and re-stained in the areas I wasn’t planning to add any paint to {see pic below}. The original stain had a lot of red in it {see before pic below}, and you really couldn’t see much of the wood grain, which is why I wanted to re-stain it. I painted the rest with my new custom color “Greige”, and added some pretty new glass hardware. I was originally concerned about keeping the paint so minimal, but I absolutely adore how it turned it.
