Found Sewing Cabinet Gets Re-Purposed

A friend of mine found this little table on the side of the road and grabbed it for me. It was in pretty rough shape, including the fact that it was missing it’s top, which is probably why someone threw it out. We gave it a new top, and removed what little was left from the inside, as it was no longer functioning & our repair skills are a bit limited when it comes to rebuilding everything involved with moving parts that would sustain an actual sewing machine! Just keeping it real;) But now it can be used as an entry table, a small desk, or both. I taped off a chevron pattern, which I later distressed, so as to not have such perfectly crisp lines. I used a mix of Mustard & Picket Fence for the color, and I love how happy it looks! Hope it finds it’s way to a new home, where it can be enjoyed for years to come:)
