First off, Shangri~La Lane is getting a new home. I will have my own suite located inside the Frisco Mercantile. Starting August 1st, my shop will be in Ste.#1106. I have been wanting to get into the Mercantile since my very first visit, and now I finally am. If you’ve never been, it’s filled with the most awesome items you can imagine, that you just can’t get anywhere else.
In the meantime, I’m staying busy picking out everything from signs, paint colors, merchandise, etc. Not to mention all of the furniture I’m painting for my shop. Let’s just say I’ve a got a huge to-do list right now. However, this list is actually fun! Here’s a mock-up of my store sign I’m having custom made. It should be ready in a couple of weeks, and I can’t wait to see the finished product…it’s the little things:)
Saving the best for last…I’m happy to announce that I am now an official dealer for The Old Fashioned Milk Paint Company. I am jumping up and down excited about this! Not only were they the first company to create and launch a milk paint line, but they’re the only ones to create a specially formulated line called “SafePaint” made for walls and nonporous items. I will be sharing much more about the milk paint line in another post. That’s all for now…have a happy Friday!
