My Kind Of Seminar!

This was my 2nd seminar this year, which included an all-star lineup of some of my favorite speakers/people: Jennifer Allwood aka The Magic Brush, Allison Griffith from Refunk My Junk, Debi from Debi’s Design Gallery, & Tracey & Julie from Tracey’s Fancy. A list from heaven y’all! The first night was a casual meet & greet, early registration, etc. But it was also a chance for all of the DIY Paint retailers to have a one-on-one meeting with Debi, where she graciously gave each of us a handmade charm bracelet, with each charm dedicated to a specific task we had accomplished. You can see just how adorable they are for yourself πŸ™‚ As if that wasn’t enough, I then got to meet Jennifer Allwood in person…she’s pretty awesome & sweet and just like you’d imagine her to be!So many fun displays showcasing all of our newest products:We even had a sign making demonstration at the seminar! Here’s a look at our new labels…And a sneak peek of our brand new Tinted Fab coming soon! But this is one I think a lot of people are going to be excited about…say hello to our brand new Spray Wax, available in 13 colors, with no buffing! Let that sink in for a moment…NO Buffing, zip, zero, zilch!!!!Tracey & Julie from Tracey’s Fancy sharing inspiration galore!
The ever so adorable Allison from Refunk My Junk getting us amped up & motivated, with tons of fabulous info!Jennifer Allwood sharing a wealth of information & knowledge with us!Debi giving us a heartfelt motivational speech πŸ™‚IMG_2229And then there’s Paula…the woman who runs it all mostly behind the scenes, which makes me think of the great and powerful Oz πŸ˜‰ This woman works tirelessly to make sure we have the best of the best and everything we need to have a successful business. I cannot praise her enough personally or professionally, I’m in serious awe of all the things she makes happen. She is a true visionary & I am so thankful to have both a business & personal relationship with her!!! Thank you Paula. Not only was I honored with being named Retailer of the Month, but I also received this apron award for Best Blogger! I’m not sure how that happened, but they can’t take it back now πŸ˜‰It was an incredible experience being able to learn firsthand from some of the best in our industry, while also being able to meet so many of my fellow retailers in person…I felt like I already knew most of them from following them online, but it was wonderful to speak with so many caring, fun, and creative individuals who I’m proud to call my tribe πŸ™‚ Oh, and I can’t even tell you how difficult it was to walk out of corporate without stuffing my suitcase full of all that paint goodness below!!!!!
