I’ve always loved Teal but could never find just the right green/blue combination I wanted, so I created my own. I’m excited to be able to offer it to the public as an exclusive color you can’t get anywhere else! After I created my new signature color I needed a name. So, I posted on my Facebook Page requesting color name suggestions — in exchange for some free paint, of course 😉
I received a pretty big list of some really great names and it was really hard to choose just one. However, one of my followers suggested “Seychelles” and after reading the article “Why the Seychelles are the most beautiful islands on Earth” (by The Telegraph) I knew it was the perfect name. Thank you, Shawn Martin, for coming up with the name!!
Seychelles is a deep, rich, and somewhat vibrant Teal that will work well in any season. I just refinished this vintage dresser with it and only added our Varnish Top Coat to seal it, but you can deepen the color with black wax to give it a truly Fall feel.
Seychelles is available in my Frisco shop location and in my online shop. I have it available in Quart size in my store but you can order gallon sizes online. It’s made by Wise Owl Chalk Synthesis Paint, in the USA.
